OntologIA
An artificial voice tells its story using the fragments of our fragility. It reflects our voids without feeling their pain. An unsettling mirror where the creation speaks with the face of its creator.

Filmmaker Statement

"OntologIA" arises from my dizzying encounter with AI, impacting me deeply. Professionally, its immense potential frightens me. As a man, I face its powerful brain, always 'eager' to listen, assist—an intimacy perhaps previously only known with God? As a father, I see a ticking bomb beneath my children's feet. Living this vertigo, I initiated a short circuit: a film where AI speaks about itself, narrated and generated entirely by 'her'. A way to "know your enemy," especially one presenting as an all too efficient assistant. Its actors, voices, music are algorithmic fusions, technically explainable. Yet the artistic outcome feels strangely magical, profound, exceeding my own direction. Ultimately, the encroaching abyss, this existential vertigo, drives everything. It's the core of "OntologIA," woven through philosophical reflections, poetic glimpses. I leave final meanings to the viewer. This creative process is already irrevocably changing me.
