Filmmaker Statement

I made this film as my first short film that isn't a school project but as a start for my film career and even though I know there will be mistakes I made in this short I know there will be mistakes I can learn from as this is the first of many that I will make. This short film is about When a down on his luck brother is spitted on by his cruel older brother, he snaps and decides to murder his brother. This is the type of film that I occurred to me in a dream. I decided to write a short script about it and sent it to everyone I met. And then I sent it to my cousin who liked the ending and decided to appear in the short film. This short film took me over a year to make considering it was my first ever short. This gave me a whole new appreciation for acting as I always thought that acting would be the easiest thing to accomplish on this short, but boy was I wrong. I hope to learn more lessons on filmmaking as I'm on the road to mastering this craft.
