Filmmaker Statement

This film explores the delicate dynamics of a family grappling with aging and responsibility. At its heart, it's a story of love, discomfort, and the subtle gestures that define relationships across generations. Inspired by a personal reflection on how we treat our elders and their impact on those who watch and learn, I wanted to show the unspoken burdens of caregiving and the quiet, profound understanding children often have of these complex emotions. The son's simple act of 3D printing a set of plastic dishes is both a solution and a powerful reflection of what he's learned, leaving us with a poignant reminder of our own future.
