Filmmaker Statement

The film draws inspiration from my own childhood memories, reshaped through the lens of cinema to evoke something deeply personal yet widely resonant. Although rooted in reality, the narrative of Playground oscillates between the tangible and the abstract, the visible and the invisible, the intimate and the universal. My intention was to offer the audience a sensory, immersive, and transformative experience - where the ordinary and the extraordinary blur in the hush of an afternoon.
