It began with a poem about a poetry hike field trip I have been taking annually with my high school students for many years. After submitting the poem to the Moving Words contest with NJ based Arts by the People my piece was chosen and paired with an animator. The final result was our short film capturing the sweetness of youth before the pandemic through these joyful colorful characters set against a backdrop of green.
