Filmmaker Statement

For my Capstone film I want to explore fashion and stylistically challenging editing because I want to express my interest in fashion. Through a comedic lens Poppy's trials and tribulations with her classmates reflect the fallacies of the fashion industry. Thinking about the idea of what being a successful woman means to me and what I think that looks like and applied these ideas to the women you see in my film, they’re my dream of how I see myself as an ingenue in the fashion industry. Coucou Snoop and the other women of my film are leading non-traditional lives.
