Pushing Daisy endeavours to poke fun at the working world and how so many of us end up becoming complacent or jaded when we started with so much hope. When complacency takes hold we stop pushing boundaries. In our film we see this dynamic played out through overly ambitious business student Daisy, who is ready to conquer the world on her work experience placement with Tom, a stagnating funeral director who wasn't really planning on revolutionising the funeral industry. In a world that is increasingly questioning preordained norms, we wanted to pose a playful debate to audiences through this comedy - why can't funerals be fun?
