Filmmaker Statement

This is a satire about what it means to date *cringe* straight white men. I got my degree in Mechanical Engineering where I was 1 of 20 girls out of 120 students in the program. I still work in tech when I’m not making films, and both fields are heavily male-dominated. Most of my films revolve around my experience trying to make it in a man's world, and this one is no different. I wanted to show a loving relationship that deepens with admitting a taboo kink while offering a funny female perspective on what it mean to date men (gross).
