Filmmaker Statement

2020 and 2021 were very tough years for many of us on this planet. The global pandemic, deaths of millions, civil unrest, fear, loneliness, and uncertainty. These are a just a few of the things that can and have led many of us into nightmarish downward spirals. A real life horror story. This is what I intended to present with "SIMONE." A story in which the world of our protagonist comes crumbling down as everything around her is lost and bleak. I wanted to show how sometimes unfortunate circumstances can stimulate negative and dark emotions that open the doors to energy not of this world. Energy that feeds off of fear, guilt, regret, pain and chaos.
