Filmmaker Statement

It’s only grown worse since the pandemic, but I’ve always felt like I’m drowning at parties. Amongst strangers, the most mundane conversation becomes a minefield. It’s painful. It’s awkward. And it feels fucking eternal. And you can become so self obsessed that the reality in front of your face becomes an abstract puzzle. Much like articulating the convoluted reasons that spark in my brain to make (excuse the pretentious term) art. Now if everyone could talk amongst themselves, I'll skip to the end.
