In exchange for a nights rest and a good feed, a pair of deadbeats are sent out to fill a bucket with mussels, but what they stumble upon will test their friendship and forever change their fortunes.

Filmmaker Statement
'Something for Nothing' is set during the golden age of smuggling and explores the effects that avarice and ambition might have upon a friendship in the wake of good fortune. Having lived on the North Devon coast for a large portion of my life I am continually inspired by the tales of smugglers and unforgiving sea that are infused in the history of the coastline.
