Filmmaker Statement

I made this film on a whim. The first scene popped up in my head in the shower and as soon as I got out of the shower I wrote it. 13 pages. I had an impulse to make the film because it resonated a lot to me. I have so many friends who move to LA to become artists, actors, directors and well, it's a dream only a tiny percentage of people make into fruition. And all the feelings in the film came from exploring deep down the correct emotion of what it is to be an artist. with of course the most ridiculous premise and plot. I think putting this all on film and relieving oneself of these emotions and pains is better than living though them. I hope it helps you too.
