This short is based on a real life experience. One night on a walk home a woman fell on me begging for help. I obviously offered to call the police but she demanded we fight the muggers who took her phone. She tried to drag me down an alleyway when I realised she was trying to mug me. I refused to follow her and when I went to call the police she bolted, along with the two men waiting for me down the alleyway. At that moment it made me realise that if I was a nicer, more naive person I would have gone down that alleyway. Then I thought about how nice people usually take the most punishment. This led to an idea - how far would a kind person need to be pushed until they push back? How many times would they have to be mugged before they didn't stand for it anymore?
