Skellien Films embarked on producing "Stoker Street" with the intention to subvert the way Vampires have traditionally been portrayed in media and pop-culture. Writer and Director, Shelby Campbell, wrote "Stoker Street" while attending The University of Iowa. It was in the Iowa Cinema Department where Shelby met Kaitlyn Healy. The two decided to forgo producing "Stoker Street" in college and agreed to wait until they had a bigger budget. Shortly after their graduation, Shelby and Kaitlyn produced and shot "Stoker Street" in the Summer of 2021 in Los Angeles, California. The film features a cast of BIPOC Actresses and the crew was made up of 90% Women and Non-binary individuals.
