Filmmaker Statement

This is my first ever short film and I wanted to see how I could affect an audience with no dialogue, just diegetic sound and composed music. So, I thought a piece in the thriller genre was the right way to go. I also wanted to take advantage of the things that I had around me, my parents own a small inn in the country side of Yorkshire, so I used it as the setting, my brother wanted to try out acting again, so I used him to and he throughly enjoyed the activity and gave off a great performance considering inexperience.
