Filmmaker Statement

As cliche as it sounds, I always wanted to make a short film about someone going through a rough breakup. When I started writing the story this the pandemic was in full effect so I decided to add a puppet to the mix. The reasoning would be that it would make it easier to film the main actor talking to a puppet rather than another person. Once I embraced the strange idea I ran with it and was extremely happy with the direction the story took. This film is near and dear to my heart and took a lot of hard work to make especially on the shoe string budget we had.
