Filmmaker Statement

Given the fact that this project had little to no budget, an insanely short production window, and it was created entirely by students? I think we did an awesome job! This was originally a series of short stories I wrote for class. After growing attached to the characters, I teamed up with two of my friends to bring the story to life! We launched a Kickstarter to raise the funds we’d need for the animation, hoping to earn minimum wage, and it completely flopped. Thus, we created a second Kickstarter to raise money for audio instead, hoping to pay ourselves for the animation later. As soon as we secured funding, we picked up a few more students to help us with the animation, and we were off! The entire pilot was created in the span of roughly 3 months. If anything, this pilot is a labor of love. I am incredibly proud of the team behind this project. While I don’t know what the future is for The Epilogue of Endings, I know this isn’t the last we'll see of these characters...
