My gut told me something was wrong. Borders quickly closing and destinations disappearing. It became clear that the airline industry was going to be very, very different. For the past 16 years I worked as an international flight attendant which helped support my filmmaking. Suddenly job cuts were looming. During work I was confined to my hotel room, alone and isolated. I was preparing for the worst and began taking my camera with me, filming from my hotel rooms where I would stay. It was an extremely difficult time. The speed of information and regulations changing was overwhelming. I found myself looking out of my window and starting to focus on the small details: a moving tree, the shadow on a building, or a vignette unfolding before me. In this small but crucial way it gave me a sense of calm and solace. With each trip possibly my last, I wanted to document this time and my personal view on this universal experience.
