The Overtime Hours is a comedy about people, about career and how our work influences how we are seen by others. It is not a film for now, it’s a film for always. Every person experiences expectations and criticisms assigned to them because of their affiliations, and TOH jumps deep into satire to tackle these themes in the context of a cartoonish and absurd setting. The colour and comedy of this film doesn’t diminish the messaging, but instead offers an opportunity to laugh at the problems and watch these archetypical characters find the ways to their own solutions.
