Filmmaker Statement

The film's goal was explore the expectations adults place on teenagers. What happens when you force a near impossible goal onto a child who is not equipped to succeed? How does that affect a person's psyche and what is the worst possible outcome due to that pressure? I wanted to convey that theme through the backdrop of my favorite sport, baseball, and as an exercise to see if I could create a tense, suspenseful story using these elements.
