They didn't know how they would pay for food, medicine, and other necessities. The children had to drop out of school, and the family was forced to rely on the kindness of neighbors and relatives. One day, a group of travelers came to the village. They were musicians and performers who had come to entertain the villagers. The family went to see the show, hoping to forget their worries for a while.
