Filmmaker Statement

This film came to be as a result of my obsession with feelings of emotional connection vs. disconnection. I believe that we all, more than anything, just want to connect with each other, to feel loved and that we belong. So why for so many of us, is this such a struggle? I wanted to make an open and empathetic exploration of the inner powers that pull us away from each other, as well as the potential of transcending those to truly connect with the people closest to us.
