Filmmaker Statement

I wanted to create a story that, at its core, is about a relationship between a grandmother and her grandson. The story explores generational differences when it comes to dealing with technology, but it is really a look at a grandmother and her grandson coming together through completing a task. We all have elders in our life that we love and admire, but as we grow older, we often forget to cherish the moments we have with them. Something as simple as a TikTok video or watching a movie or cooking a meal, could become a memory that lasts forever. That is what is at the heart of this story, and I hope it comes through.
