Filmmaker Statement

I've always believed in letting a film speak for itself, but I'm young and you definitely don't know me, so I'll speak a little. Townsend's Last Night is the film you either just watched or are about to watch. It's a labor of love that is dedicated to the loners and losers who know what it's like to lose their footing in this world. It's for those who couldn't get into college, who didn't wanna go to college, and who didn't know what college was until people started asking which one they were going to. I won't tell you what it's about because I wish for your own interpretation of it, but I will tell you that I've never cared more about a single thing in my 22 years on this earth. This film is a product of the soul; mine and many others. But that doesn't mean much until you've seen it. The film was able to make its theatrical premiere at Rockaway FF just a few weeks ago and will make its online premiere through NoBudge October 11th. Extending its life through SOTW would be a true honor.
