The societal image depicted in Tagore's Hyamanti aligns with the same society portrayed in "Ultopuran," but it is highlighted through a modernism. However, both realms suffer from neglect and oppression."Ultopuran" seamlessly incorporates aspects of gender diversity, encompassing women, men, and the LGBTQ community. In this context, Tagore's novel strives to establish a harmonious connection with contemporary society, attempting to convey the essence of diversity alongside the pursuit of prosperity.'Hyamanti' and 'Vishu' are characters from two distinct novels by Rabindranath Tagore.Navigating societal norms and gender expectations, Vishu and Hyamanti's intertwined journey reflects the challenges and joys of breaking free. The narrative skillfully weaves traditional norms with individual identities, envisioning a dream for a more gender-sensitive society.
