It has never been easier to manipulate the way people perceive you. Those of us growing up in the digital age have become experts at cultivating our appearance, and too often lose ourselves in the process. WELCOME BACK LOUNGE emerged from this phenomenon, studying a uniquely troubled young man who oscillates between identities depending on who he’s talking to. Connor’s story, while extreme, emerged from my own battle with self-image. I think it’s deeply resonant with audiences both from my generation and beyond who too often morph into the person they feel others want them to be. I’m excited to bring WELCOME BACK LOUNGE to audiences and hope to leave a lasting impression on all who see it. Don't be afraid to laugh as Connor tries and fails—desperately—to charm those around him with his false personas.
