Filmmaker Statement

"When I first read Marlowe's thought-provoking script, I thought that this is exactly what the first few months of COVID lock-down felt to me: Constant repetition, minor memory loss and a feeling of desperation, of wanting to break out of the "sameness". I didn't want to give the audience all the answers - Marlowe's characters live in their own universe and only they know the rules - as long as the right feeling was captured. I'm very proud of this work and I hope it will resonate with everyone who endured lock-down and the fear of being stuck forever." - Barbara Stepansky, Director
