'Your Move' is essentially about different outlooks on life and the nature of competition and winning. I wanted to explore in the two characters what a primal need to win will do to someone. Both go in hard on eachothers personal circumstances that they often have to infer or guess about. All with the goal of success in their heads. It's an ideology that can corrupt everything around you and obsessing over victory can make loss all the more devastating. There is a also a huge element of looking at how different backgrounds can inform that need to win, whether it's through the need to prove oneself or a sense of entitlement.
