The inspiration for this came from a news story about two men assaulting each other over the last bag of toilet paper in a grocery store during the pandemic. I thought it was hysterical, sad, and a good visual representation of the year. I wanted everything to sound and feel tense, because that is how it felt to venture outside in 2020. Ultimately, it was a ridiculous year and I wanted this short film to be too.
