Filmmaker Statement

Bestia expresses, through a character with many edges, the meat product of a macabre society. Ingrid Olderock, perfectly represents our premise; Within each Beast lives a victim. Without empathizing with the atrocities committed by this woman, she searches through her daily life, to enter her mind and explore, perhaps without finding anything substantial, the fears, frustrations, dreams and delusions of this complex character, and try to unite as pieces of porcelain, a fractured inherited life which ends up being a hidden piece in the events committed during the military dictatorship.
