Filmmaker Statement

I funded, produced, directed, and wrote this project to challenge myself as a filmmaker. A Brush of Violence demanded nearly two years of my life and I've grown so much from this project as it's my first film. Filtering through twenty-five thousand actors, two weeks of filming in seventeen locations, involving fifty extras and a team of thirty-one talented individuals. This ambitious short film is nothing sort of a miracle because none of us gave up. I'm very thankful to the people who trusted the project to help make this film with me. I hope everyone enjoys it nearly as much as we did making it.
