I wanted to make a short film about a side of relationships that most people have experienced. That fight about a small thing that doesn't matter in itself, but is covering for a big thing that's too uncomfortable to face. It's hard for people to be honest with their partners because it's hard for people to be honest with themselves. Most of us have experienced a fight similar to the one Lydia and Damien have in this film. In this case, I use the "flies" as that small thing that doesn't matter. There's an elephant in the room, but it's the size of a fly, and it manages to escape each grasp.
