Filmmaker Statement

Everyone's got a past. Some let if affect their lives more than others, which is the case for Jaime and Leslie. They are two women who come from completely different worlds, but have ended up in the same situation. They have both made mistakes and they both have something to lose. I wanted to create characters who were morally complex and held their own justifications for their actions, regardless if it's actually the right thing to do or not. I plan to expand more on these concepts in the feature length version.
