Filmmaker Statement

‘Adrift’ explores the desire to break free from monotony and the pressures of passing time during the transitionary period into adulthood. With data collected through surveys and interviews, I wanted to document and visualise the feelings and experiences of myself and my peers as we approach our early to mid-twenties; epecially post graduation. The film follows the story of a humaoid character who has just moved away to the city, spotlighting the interval of uncerainty and change over one unusual day.
