“Ang Huling Sayaw” is very much birthed from very personal experiences I’ve experienced and deeply felt during the global pandemic. I, very much wanted to explore the themes of the intersectionalities between being queer and someone who’s always experienced what I call, “deep-loneliness”. In this work, I also wanted to pay homage to everything that I’ve experienced especially now being in my 30’s and wanted to create from a place of authenticity and realness. Especially telling stories from my own perspective that aren’t usually told from the LGBTQIA+ community.
