Blister is an exploration of the lies we tell ourselves about our bodies and the obsessive goals we set in order to perpetuate those lies. My hope in making this film is to share my own experiences of body dysmorphia in a way that can help others struggling with their self-image. Blister explores weight loss and obsession through the lens of a simple goal: weigh less than 200 lbs. and asks the audience to question what they are willing to do to themselves in order to be healthy and happy.
