Filmmaker Statement

Update: As "Bonding" winds down its festival run, we're excited to finish strong and continue sharing our work with audiences worldwide. With over 69 award wins and 69 nominations, our short film has captivated viewers at various prestigious festivals, including those qualifying for the Academy Awards, BAFTA, and the Canadian Screen Awards. Discover why "Bonding" has made an impact on the global festival circuit! ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ It was with an extreme amount of enthusiasm that I undertook the task to write/direct/produce/act and have a role as composer on this short film over the summer of 2022. My intention was to create the best film I could with the resources that I had, maintain a vision whilst synthesizing the visions of others that jumped on board this project with me. The film then became an intelligent entity of its own, and interestingly involved many synchronicities along the way - always a sure sign we were on the right path!
