Filmmaker Statement

Rosalind Hull's spoken word ‘Charmer’ interrogates sex and dating in the modern technical age. I was drawn to Rosalind's writing and felt that we could create something that would bring to life tonally those feelings of anxiety. When Rosalind performed the piece it instantly evoked a series of moments in my mind that would lend themselves to the rhythm of the poem.
