Filmmaker Statement

This film, to me, revolves around the importance of changing one's attitude and morals before the inevitable arrives. These days, I don't think anyone actually looks into the mirror anymore. So, this is me holding a mirror in front of your face for you. The cast consisted of folks who've never acted in their lives, which I personally love working with. This gives me an opportunity to showcase the skills they have within them as well as prove what I'm capable of doing with an actor. There are shots throughout the film that are inspired by some of my favorites like Spike Lee & Martin Scorsese. Prequl Creative is a production team that we, Yellow Bike Films, worked with on this film and it was beautiful. There were small setbacks but overall it went smoothly. Creating this film helped me finally say something that I wanted to say through my art and that's the whole reason I do this. To say something.
