Filmmaker Statement

Christine Sinclair’s story resonated with me because I recognized myself in it. I’ve never been the loudest person in the room, and for a long time I assumed that meant I wasn’t built to lead. Like Christine, I’ve often worked from the background, only to learn that leadership doesn’t need to be performative to be effective. This film comes from that shared understanding. It looks beyond achievements to the quieter forces that shape a life, family, pressure, self-doubt, and resolve. Through animation, we explore those internal moments, and the power of leading through action rather than volume.
