Filmmaker Statement

"I’ve always been fascinated by how our minds make quick judgement calls. Sometimes for the best, and other times for the worst. In this case, the worst. The quick analysis of the mind’s “scan” of an event is one thing; however, it’s the then systemic “extrapolation” of that interpreted event that then gets us trapped in circular reasoning. For a brief few seconds, judgement can then bring forth a cascade of splintered thoughts and theories, many of which have no bearing on the original “scan.” We’ve all been there, many times, over and over again, which is why I made this short. It’s relatable and true." DAVID KENNEDY - Writer, Director, Cinematographer, Editor, Motion Graphics
