Filmmaker Statement

While I may not personally identify as queer, I find immense fulfillment within the queer community and firmly believe that sharing LGBTQIA+ stories (big or small) on a global scale is essential for societies. This queer narrative offers a glimpse into the range of emotions and experiences that individuals within the queer community encounter. The intention behind this story is to leave our audience with food for thought and a warm smile, conveying a sense of both tragic humour and liberation. The film deliberately raises numerous questions without offering easy answers. Is the protagonist pansexual? Are they leading a double life? Is their relationship open? It also touches on subtle moral dilemmas, which I find intriguing. The beauty of it lies in the fact that we're left uncertain about whether the situation is right or unconventional; it's ultimately up to the viewer to make their own judgment.
