Filmmaker Statement

Dandelions Girl is more than just a film; it is a tribute to the strength and resilience of young girls and a reminder of the courage needed to stand for truth. The story reflects my personal journey as well. After facing injustice and plagiarism of my previous work by Asghar Farhadi, I wrote this film to show that I was not defeated, but instead rose again. The film is both poetic and political: a symbol of hope, honesty, and resistance against corruption. Through the image of dandelions—fragile yet resilient—I wanted to show that dreams can survive even in the harshest conditions. This film is not only about a girl, but about every child fighting to protect their dreams and integrity in an unjust world.
