Filmmaker Statement

I believe in STORY first filmmaking. I wanted to create the fun of 90's action movies through the lens of the modern age. I've had the idea for "Drift" since I was 14 years old and to see it come to fruition 16 years later was such an incredible journey! I think when hard times happen in our lives we tend to isolate and pull away from our friends and family and this film was a representation of fighting through that isolation and taking care of the people you love most. It has heart, action, sci-fi elements and grounded VFX to help tell the story of Philip and his struggle to protect his family.
