Filmmaker Statement

This film was inspired by a story my wife told me about a creature called a Duende that will follow you home and live in your walls, cutting off toes if your feet are exposed. A story that her mother would tell her and her siblings. My wife is of Mexican decent and a Duende is a latin American folklore creature. I made the film with just me, a camera, and my best friend and film life partner, Cole Gray
