Filmmaker Statement

This film is a time capsule of a particular moment in 2020 many of us called "the bubble," a summer spent in isolation and unknowing... Over the summer of 2020 Gabe Imlay asked 10 friends in Los Angeles to interview themselves for three months. Mr. Imlay emailed a series of questions everyday and asked the subjects to record their answers. "In 2020, the world stood still for a while. In this context I had the time and space to explore new directions in storytelling. For me this film is about the end of an era... and the beginning of another." Gabe Imlay
