Filmmaker Statement

This film is about generational trauma and how that informs our relationships with one another and ourselves through time, and how the stucco of time aims to repair these fractures between others and ourselves. How do we carry ourselves after losing those dear to us in our lives, and of those figures who most closely resemble fragments of our own egos that we must let go of? Just because we say goodbye to someone doesn't mean we don't carry them with us for the rest of our lives, because I love you is something we feel when we look back.
