Filmmaker Statement

Something as frivolous as choosing what to wear can be one of the hardest parts of my day. I waste so much time making my mind up. Lola represents many other girls getting ready for what should be a "fun" night, getting hung up on their reflection, the dress strap, the cleavage etc. I made this film to characterize our crazy minds, have a laugh, but also encourage people to stop seeking everyone else's approval. The only approval that really matters, is our own.
