Filmmaker Statement

"Front Lines of Hope" is a documentary close to my heart. It's about fatherhood, faith, and how these themes shape us when things get hard. I wanted to share a story that shows the power of hope and the strength of family bonds. Personal experiences and reflections on family informed my decision making in the filmmaking process. Making this film wasn't easy, especially navigating an active war zone. It was a first time for me and it made me confront my own decisions about my work and its importance. I believe in sharing stories that inspire and uplift, and that's what I hope "Front Lines of Hope" does for its viewers.
