Filmmaker Statement

I wrote Ghazi after realizing you can’t force your ambition onto others. People have their own paths, and sometimes love means letting go. Growing up in a rough part of New York, I saw how survival makes people justify anything, including stealing a dog. Ghazi explores brotherhood and self-sacrifice.
